WELCOME TO THE BLOG

An at-home lifestyle engagement session here in BGKY // Callie and Jason are getting MARRIED!

Hello friends! We are reaching out to you from or home in Bowling Green as we practice physical distancing in compliance with our governor’s orders. In addition to letting ourselves rest a bit, we are also trying to keep creating as much as possible. Blogging is absolutely going to be a part of that plan. We’ve always been behind on keeping more than just our portfolios fresh. We need to keep sharing moments from amazing days and sessions so that we are attracting the best clients once the quarantine is lifted. We’ve *also* been creating a cooking series. I eat SUPER WELL and it’s because Ganer is such a caring and diligent cook. I thought we’d use our gear, love of teaching, and FOOD to keep ourselves busy. Feel free to check out his insta or his youtube to follow along/cook with us! Our hashtags are #ganercooks #overlyelaboratemeals! TAG US if you cook with us, yeah?

Given everything going on, I thought it was really fitting to share this at-home lifestyle session I did with the sweetest couple. Callie and Jason are from Dallas, but moved to Bowling Green for work. Callie found me through the hashtag #bgky when they first moved here and wanted to get a sense of our amazing little city. She gave me a follow (thanks girl!) and contacted me  soon after they got engaged. Her vision was right up our alley: a session to celebrate the home and life they’ve created here in BG before the celebrate the big wedding in Dallas. I was hooked!

This session has everything: dogs, friendly cats, grumpy cats, a pyrex collection, records, adorable decor,  a truly incredible opal ring designed by Jason and made by our local Morris Jewelery, boots, a cave, beautiful blue creeks, endless giggles, cuddles, and genuine love between a couple that’s super cute.

We hope this gives you the kind of pick-me-up we all need in these times of staying at home. And most importantly remember: your home is beautiful. It is full of love. It is full of the people and things you care for most in a time of isolation. Cherish it, and never doubt that we can take beautiful photos there once this is finally over.

Stay safe, stay well. Sending all the love.
