Ahhh I’m so excited to finally blog this wedding for y’all. Sorry for the radio silence! We’ve had an incredibly busy summer and on top of that, we relocated back to KY. More on that later.
We are ALL ABOUT this couple and this wedding. Seriously, we had an absolute blast shooting this. We really clicked with the couple because well, they are awesome people but more so because our tastes were really aligned. They love music, all things vintage, dancing, laughing, being silly, and are genuinely head over heels for each other. There was never a moment where I’d look at them and they weren’t having a great time. I also have to thank Adrienne’s mom, who is also a photographer, for raising an incredibly photogenic bride who loves the camera!
Some of our favorite parts: the groom playing the opening music as guests enter, the parents praying over the couple during the ceremony, the bubbles at the exit out of the church, the surprise silly string, goofing off with the groom during portraits, his light up bow tie, the glorious sweets table (we got to take some home– yum), and the music accents, feeling transported to another decade, the brides entire look, and most of all– feeling like we were welcomed into their family. Seriously, we were treated so well and so kindly. We felt comfortable enough to cut a rug with them during the reception! They trusted our vision and even added to it. It was a very creatively and emotionally fulfilling day :]
I know this couple is due for a great and happy life together. Thank you for inviting us into the magic! We’ll never forget how much fun it was to work with y’all!
