Hello friends! We have a truly stellar wedding to share with you all. Heather and Travis are two of the brightest, most joyful couples we’ve met in our line of work. These two were eager to finally wed and the excitement of it finally happening shows through all of the photos. They spent much of their year of planning apart while Travis served our Air Force in Afghanistan (and in fact, left for another tour shortly after the wedding). The distance seems to have only intensified their connection as a couple. These two were connected at the hip the entire day and were so incredibly excited to be in each other’s presence.
Their very emotional ceremony was held in the church her family attended in Red Bud IL. Following a quick stop at a local bar, the group moved to Forest Park in St. Louis MO (a park that I’m just crazy about, it’s so beautiful). Weather was overcast and moody, but somehow the day seemed so bright :]
Heather and Travis are the kind of people that introduce their photographers as “friends.” They sat us with a super fun group and fed us a delicious dinner. They are so very generous with their kindness and we are just thrilled to have connected with such a phenomenal couple.
Things we adore about this wedding: all of the lavender everywhere, the saber ceremony (with a “welcome to the airforce” pat on the butt to go along with it), the high energy bridal party, their “first look”, popping champagne in the limo, doing the wave in the limo, the incredibly fun service men, MO’s Forest Park, and making great friends :]
We had an amazing time. Thanks again for having us along for the ride, guys! We just know you’re going to have an incredible life together!
