Boy do I have a joyful couple to share with you guys. We adore these two because they are just so incredibly kind, happy, and CHILL. Seriously I don’t think there’s a minute without laughter and smiles while we are with these two. I think it’s really easy to take engagement photos a little too seriously. Now I’m ALL for dramatics, but I think genuine connection and laughter is so much more fun to photograph :]. No, you probably don’t whimsically dance around, pick each other up, and press foreheads on a daily basis. However, it’s so fun to catch the reactions of a couple willing to try and just BE together.
You can also so clearly see how pumped these two are to be with each other. They are temporarily long distance as Tom is away for school in Maryland so this session was one of the only times they got to be together in the last year. Yet they interacted so naturally that you’d think they were always connected at the hip :]
For the session we did a simple neighborhood stroll in the woods. I loved how goofy and spontaneous this session was. We are so crazy excited to shoot their wedding. I just know it’s going to be loaded with joy!
