When I met up with Mallory and Josh for this session, they were days away from moving back to Maryland from Bowling Green. I had gotten to know them through a mutual friend and quickly decided that they were just two of the sweetest. There are hazy memories of playing Badminton in said friend’s kitchen when we first met and many laughs and memories thereafter. They had moved here for Mallory’s job here at the Barren River Health Department and during their time here, they got engaged. Consistent with their easygoing style as a couple, they decided on a wedding that many of us would envy: a smaller destination wedding on the beach (Punta Cana to be specific). I mean, come on… a wedding and a vacation wrapped up into one? Don’t get me started on how badly I’m missing the beach right now! I applauded them for knowing so clearly what they wanted and I was incredibly flattered when they asked to squeeze in a short engagement session before they made the big move back home. We chose this lovely little park positioned along the river to further celebrate their love of water and time here in BG. I love how you can really feel the emotions of so many pending big life changes. I was so happy to be able to commemorate this time of transition with photographs.
We miss you two and hope that marriage has been nothing but awesome. It took me a million years to blog these but here are some of my favorites!
